Are You REALLY Interested in Social Work???

If so, you might want to read this new book, "The Woman Behind the New Deal". It is about a Social Worker, Frances Perkins, who "was FDR's Secretary of Labor and his Social Conscience"
Many of the events that she (and he) struggled through yielded policies and programs that have since shaped our world.
A read of this book will help a budding professional social worker in her or his application of the mezzo span which extends from macro- and beyond micro-level social work.
